 Owners Sakarin (Sak) Seedasome, Matthew Ventura & Connor Rasmussen,  first had the idea to open a pour-your-own taproom after seeing the concept in other states. When they realized the setup was illegal in Connecticut, they started working with state lawmakers to change that.  

 Self-Pour Taprooms Create A New Customer Experience

"There are advantages for a customer at a self-pour taproom," Seedasome says.  "The taproom’s entire system ... is designed to be quick and convenient, creating the vibe our customers look for. "

 The taproom offers 69 taps between both floors, with a combination of craft beers, wines, non-alcoholic options, mocktails, and more, with 90% of the options coming from within Connecticut. 

 Connecticut was one of the last states to legalize the technology.  The Nutmeg State legalized the technology in 2021.

 We give two thumbs up to Hop & Vine Taproom IN Stamford, CT! Yes, we don’t always stay IN Greenwich.  Located in downtown Stamford, off of Bedford, Hop & Vine Taproom opened up a few months ago.  It’s two floors and super spacious with a casual vibe, games to play, TVs to watch and drinks that you pour yourself.
